System allows for a wide variety of compositions ranging from bookshelves to media storage. Developed by designer Piero Lissoni in the 1970s, System can be fitted with doors, drawers, and sliding panels as well as lighting. Available with or without back panels, System is a free-standing unit that is designed to be customizable by width, length and height. System can also be wall-mounted without back panels, a feature exclusive to the collection. The abscence of back panels allows the user to get creative with wall finishings behind the composition.
