ISHIBURO BASIN
This Ishiburo basin, designed by award-winning Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, is composed of a rectangular stone basin encased in a freestanding pedestal clad in the Ishiburo texture. Part of a wider collection that includes a bathtub and shower tray, together they create a refined addition in natural stone to either a Salvatori ‘total look’ bathroom or mixed with other contemporary pieces. “I aspired to maximise the inherent material quality of stone. Being immersed in warm water contained within stone brings instinctive comfort to human beings”.
